This aims to turn Hyderabad into a destination that has significant value in the pharmaceutical supply chain.This project is currently under discussion, with stakeholders like Nasscom and business technology bodies. Further, this project aims to bring together global and Indian pharmaceutical companies, global capability centres (GCC's), research institutions, startups and investors to create a comprehensive ecosystem for pharmaceutical and commercialisation.Haryana is all set to pass a policy for building pharma hubs. This initiative is rolled out under the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices Manufacturing Policy, 2026. This aims to create about 20,000 job opportunities for the next five years along with building more medical hubs, availing affordable domestic medicines, medical devices and high-value health care.This project aims to capitalise on the growing Indian Pharma Industry, as well as to reduce its dependence on foreign markets for high-value critical drugs. The Industries and Commerce Secretary, Amit Aggarwal, quotes that, "this project aims to turn Haryana into a global competitive market hub." The Indian Pharma market is growing rapidly, as new research and developments have gained value and popularity over time. Drug discoveries and approvals have lately introduced Indian Pharma into various global markets. POIndia has earned global recognition for its India pharma industry, but the next phase of growth could depend on a major shift. Experts believe the country's future lies in Aarogya Setu 2.0 is no longer just a COVID-19 app. The Centre has launched a revamped version of the platform with several new features that bring PM-JAY Wallet, Digital Health Records, and other healthcare services under one roof. The updated drug innovation through forward engineering, rather than relying mainly on generic medicines. While India continues to be known as the "Pharmacy of the World," industry leaders say it is time to move from copying existing drugs to creating new ones. This transition could help the India pharma industry strengthen its global position, build intellectual property, and unlock long-term growth. The discussion comes at a time when India remains one of the world's largest suppliers of affordable medicines. However, experts argue that manufacturing strength alone will not be enough to compete in the next era of global healthcare. Greater focus on pharmaceutical innovation and research and development is now seen as the key to sustained success. POAarogya Setu 2.0 is designed to help users store medical records, access government health schemes, manage insurance benefits, and connect with healthcare providers through a single app. The move is aimed at making healthcare services simpler, faster, and more accessible for millions of Indians. The upgraded app was launched by Union Health Minister JP Nadda as part of the government's push to strengthen the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM). Instead of serving only as a contact-tracing app, Aarogya Setu has now become a Personal Health Record (PHR) platform where users can securely manage their health information. POThe inspection was carried out by the US Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals' manufacturing facility in Goa. After the inspection, the regulator issued a Form 483, which lists observations made during the inspection. A Form 483 does not mean the company has violated regulations or that regulatory action has been taken. Instead, it highlights areas where the regulator believes improvements may be needed. PO
