The critical momentum to the biomanufacturing sector in India is being spurred by the fact that Danaher India, a subsidiary of world science and technology giant Danaher Corporation, has entered into a strategic alliance with the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI). The collaboration is a high-impact effort to strengthen the biomanufacturing ecosystem through supporting innovation, developing more local infrastructure, and improving the speed at which healthcare and biotech solutions can be delivered.
The collaboration was officially launched at the 16th Foundation Day and the 2nd Industry Business Meet of THSTI, which acted as a collaboration gateway amongst scientists, policymakers, startups, and industry leaders operating within and beyond the life science research showcases, translational research, and the healthcare technology convergence.

Through this alliance India makes a firm resolve to become a manufacturing hub in life sciences industry and with the support of the best biotech infrastructure, R&D capability and industry-academia relationship, this resolution stands firm.
