Kyndryl, a top mission-critical enterprise technology services company, has entered into a strategic association with Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, a leading Indian multinational pharmaceutical firm, to transform and simplify the latter's worldwide IT operations.
As per the deal, Kyndryl will transform IT infrastructure across Dr. Reddy's whole network — from manufacturing facilities to global offices, data centers, and cloud-based infrastructure. The modernization will be powered by Kyndryl Bridge, an open integration platform based on artificial intelligence meant to track and manage hybrid computing environments.
Through automated monitoring and predictive analytics, the platform will provide failure prediction, auto-remediation, and self-healing capabilities, minimizing downtime and human intervention to a great extent. The new IT model will utilize Kyndryl's Dual Model IT Ops framework, which is focused on root-cause resolution instead of reactive remediation, making the transition towards Zero Touch IT Operations.
This strategy will reduce manual IT interventions by about 60%, enhance service reliability, and boost compliance through real-time dashboards and analytics. A centralized IT dashboard will provide a single view of operational performance, risk posture, and governance controls to enable smarter, data-driven decisions.
President of Kyndryl India, Lingraju Sawkar said, “Kyndryl brings an unmatched global expertise in managing critical IT systems and creating business value to India’s pharma and healthcare industry. Our advanced technology and expertise will support Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories digital transformations journey by leveraging the expansive predictive capabilities of Kyndryl Bridge, we can identify the issues and solve them to support Dr. Reddy’s commitment to leverage technology to provide pr=patients with access to innovative and affordable medicines.”
The partnership marks a significant milestone in digital transformation for Dr. Reddy's, integrating IT capability with long-term business objectives and regulatory requirements, and enhancing efficiency and business resilience across global sites.
