FUJIFILM India has recently introduced its new healthcare technology, FW 500 Clinical Chemistry Analyzer, which consolidates In-vitro Diagnostics.

The FW500 offers both the expertise in dry chemistry Fujifilm has developed over 40 years plus the globally renowned Wako biochemistry reagents to provide an end user with a highly complex wet chemistry solution to suit the increased needs of middle-sized diagnostic laboratories throughout India.

The FW500 is designed to perform 200 tests in an hour and is accurate, efficient, and easy to use. It has 95 sample positions and 72 reagent positions that can be used in a small footprint.

Shivani Shah Kadu, National Business Manager, In-vitro Diagnostics, Medical Systems Division, added,: “The launch of the FW500 marks a defining step in our diagnostics portfolio expansion. By combining Fujifilm’s engineering excellence with the precision of Wako reagents, we are offering laboratories a robust solution that ensures accuracy, efficiency, and adaptability. This launch also underscores our vision to be a total solutions provider in biochemistry, giving customers access to both dry and wet chemistry platforms under one trusted brand.”

Such characteristics as a constant loading of samples and control of temperature of reagents guarantee 24/7 operations, which provide laboratories with predictability and stable outcomes of tests. The important highlights include sustainability and intelligent connectivity. The FW500 produces minimal waste as it only consumes 1.5 litres of water per hour and uses reusable cuvettes. Its smart software allows real time monitoring and remote access, which improves productivity and efficiency in running the business.

However, FUJIFILM India expands its range of biochemistry solutions with FW500, which means that it has a complete biochemistry portfolio that covers both dry and wet chemistry platforms, which reflects its interest in developing diagnostic technology and enhancing the access of quality healthcare in India.
