Medanta Advances Cataract Surgery with UNITY VCS System

Medanta, one of India’s leading super-specialty healthcare providers, has taken a major step in advancing eye care with the launch of the UNITY Vitreoretinal Cataract System (VCS) at Medanta Mediclinic, Defence Colony, New Delhi.

The hospital is the first in the country to implement this next-generation surgical system, designed to offer precision-driven and patient-centric ophthalmic care.

The UNITY VCS system marks a breakthrough in cataract and vitreoretinal surgery. It combines intelligent fluidics, real-time sensing, and several first-to-market innovations to enhance surgical precision, safety, and efficiency.
