The Association of Gynecological Robotic Surgeons of India (AGRS)'s premier annual event, RoboGynIndia 2025, wrapped off its fourth year in Mumbai with significant engagement and great momentum. "Robotic Surgery in Gynecology—Redefining Boundaries" was the focus of the August 2–3 conference, which brought together the nation's leading robotic gynecologic surgeons and international specialists for a two-day academic and clinical exchange.
The Vattikuti Foundation, a driving force behind the development of robotic surgery in India, sponsored the event, which featured prominent figures like actress and cancer survivor Sonali Bendre as a Special Guest and Tina Ambani, Chairperson of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, as the Chief Guest. Both highlighted the critical need for fair access to cutting-edge surgical options as well as the revolutionary role that innovation plays in women's healthcare.
By identifying and supporting up-and-coming talent in the industry, the Vattikuti Foundation enhanced its strategic partnership with AGRS, continuing its longstanding support. The Foundation sponsored the coveted Vattikuti Scholar awards as part of its mission to develop the next generation of robotic surgeons. Five winners were recognized for their exceptional surgical video presentations, and each received a $500 grant and the coveted title of AGRS Vattikuti Scholar.
