Stakeboat Capital provides Rs. 50 crore in Series-A funding to Sukino Healthcare Solutions

Sukino Healthcare Solutions, India's first comprehensive continuum of care provider for long-term healthcare management, has received a Rs. 50 crore Series-A private equity investment from Stakeboat Capital. The Bengaluru-based firm intends to use the new funds to expand into new geographies and areas of rehabilitation, utilising technology and the best business processes that it has mastered over the years.

Sukino currently manages 5 centres, which will be expanded to 20 centres with 1,500 beds over the next three years. Sukino has previously raised angel rounds from high-profile investors, including the family offices of Kris Gopalakrishnan and Mohandas Pai. Sukino pioneered the concept of continuum care centres in India for patients who are unable to return home immediately. These patients frequently require a level of medical care and rehabilitation that is difficult to provide at home.

The services are geared towards patients suffering from chronic illnesses such as neurological impairments, cardiac diseases, cancer, respiratory distress, kidney disease, and post-operative clinical care. The company's services are available at their continuum care centres in Bengaluru and Kochi, as well as at the patient's home. Under one roof, the company offers a full range of services, from preventative care and critical intervention to rehabilitative treatment and sensitive palliative care for terminally ill patients.
