Unicommerce’s multi-channel order and warehouse management systems will help Tata 1mg manage stock levels in real time, improve demand forecasting, and minimize overstocking. This integration enhances the efficiency of fulfilling orders placed on Tata 1mg’s website and other marketplaces, while also improving the overall customer experience.
The platform’s batching functionality will enable quick detection of faulty or expired products, allowing for timely recalls or sales prioritization based on expiry alerts. Tata 1mg, which offers a wide range of products under its own brand—including nutritional supplements, personal care, Ayurveda, and medical devices—has seen rapid growth across online channels.
With India’s e-pharmacy sector projected to grow from US$ 394.09 million in 2024 to US$ 801.34 million by 2030, technology-driven partnerships like this one reflect a broader industry push towards digital health transformation, supported by initiatives like the Digital Health Incentive Scheme (DHIS).
Tata 1mg Vice President – Consumer Products, Ketan Bhatia, noted “As a leading online health & wellness brand, we are committed to providing our customers a seamless shopping experience for our wide range of effective & high-quality products. Our partnership with Unicommerce is a step towards strengthening our e-commerce operations to enhance the buying experience for our customers across the country”.
