The company's philosophy is simple: technology should adapt to business requirements, not the other way around
Milind Malshe, CEO
As companies expand product portfolios, strengthen field operations, and compete in increasingly dynamic markets, the ability to convert commercial data into timely business decisions has become a defining competitive advantage. Sales performance, field-force productivity, market trends, customer engagement, and promotional effectiveness must all be analysed in near real time to support both strategic and operational decisions.
While large pharmaceutical companies have invested significantly in enterprise analytics and business intelligence platforms, many small and mid-sized organizations continue to face challenges around affordability, implementation complexity, and delayed reporting. These organizations are on the lower end of technology adoption curve as they usually lack the IT roadmap. Infisolve India was established to address this gap.
Focused exclusively on pharmaceutical commercial intelligence, the company has developed technology solutions that transform operational data into business-ready insights for every level of a pharmaceutical organization.
By combining deep pharmaceutical domain expertise with flexible technology architecture, Infisolve India enables companies to adopt commercial intelligence without the complexity and cost traditionally associated with enterprise business intelligence platforms.
The Inception Saga
The vision behind Infisolve India is deeply rooted in founder Milind Malshe's unique blend of pharmaceutical and technology expertise. Armed with a degree in Pharmacy and a postgraduate qualification in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT), Mumbai, he spent a decade in pharmaceutical sales, marketing, product management, and commercial operations before moving to Tata Consultancy Services.
During his 12-year tenure at TCS, he specialized in pharmaceutical commercial analytics using IMS (now IQVIA) data, uncovering a critical gap: while Indian pharmaceutical companies possessed valuable commercial data, most lacked the analytical capabilities to transform it into actionable business intelligence.
To bridge this gap, he founded Infisolve India in 2018, making advanced commercial analytics accessible and affordable for the Indian pharmaceutical industry.

Purpose-Built for Pharmaceutical Commercial Operations
Rather than developing a generic business intelligence platform, Infisolve India chose to build solutions specifically around pharmaceutical commercial workflows. Its flagship platform, BizIntel, integrates sales, promotional, and field activity data into role-based dashboards that provide actionable insights across organizational hierarchies.
Medical representatives, area managers, regional managers, business heads, and senior leadership each receive relevant performance indicators aligned with their responsibilities, enabling faster and better-informed decisions.
“The platform has also been designed for ease of adoption.
Organizations can upload their own business data through a proof-of-concept environment and evaluate the platform before implementation. Once deployed, BizIntel integrates with existing ERP systems and internal databases using APIs or customized workflows, depending on the client's technology landscape”, speaks Milind Malshe, CEO. The entire integration process and deployment of the instance goes no further than 2 weeks.
Unlike conventional enterprise software that often demands significant investments in infrastructure, licenses, and dedicated IT teams, BizIntel follows a flexible pay-per-user model built on open-source technologies. This enables small and medium-sized pharmaceutical companies to access enterprise-grade commercial intelligence without disproportionate technology expenditure.
Combining Domain Expertise with Execution Agility
One of Infisolve India's key differentiators is its ability to understand business requirements beyond technical specifications. Having worked extensively across both pharmaceutical operations and enterprise technology, the leadership team approaches client engagements from a commercial perspective first.
Rather than simply building requested dashboards, the company works closely with clients to understand how business requirements are likely to evolve and recommends analytical capabilities that support future decision-making as well.
This consultative approach is supported by a lean development model that enables rapid implementation and customization. Platform enhancements that might typically require weeks of development can often be delivered within a matter of days, allowing clients to respond quickly to changing commercial priorities while keeping implementation costs under control.

Strengthening the Pharmaceutical Commercial Ecosystem
Infisolve India's expertise extends beyond business intelligence. The company has developed complementary solutions including an integrated CRM platform for pharmaceutical field-force management, a webinar platform designed for medical engagement programmes, and a scheme management solution that helps companies monitor trade promotions and evaluate their commercial effectiveness.
Its practical approach to problem-solving is reflected in client engagements as well. In one implementation, a pharmaceutical company required commercial dashboards to refresh every fifteen minutes despite technical limitations within its SAP environment (SAP HANA is on cloud with no access to the databases via APIs). Since direct database integration was unavailable, Infisolve India engineered an automated workflow using scheduled data extracts while simultaneously developing reconciliation logic to account for cancelled invoices, which were not available in the extracts.
The result was accurate, near real-time reporting that supported sales monitoring without compromising data integrity. Infisolve India brought in more databases from production department, finance department and integrated with sales to provide real-timekey metrices for CEO and CIO’s decision-making.
This was possible due to the agile architecture of the BizIntel. Another Chennai based client won the best ‘digital transformation journey’ conferred by the CII in 2022 for Infisolve India’s BizIntel deployment.
As pharmaceutical organizations continue accelerating their digital transformation journeys, commercial intelligence is becoming an operational necessity rather than a competitive luxury. By delivering affordable, scalable, and pharmaceutical-specific technology solutions, Infisolve India is helping bridge the gap between raw data and business action.
In doing so, the company is enabling Indian pharmaceutical organizations to make faster decisions, improve commercial effectiveness, and build a stronger data-driven culture for sustained growth.
