The recent advancements in technology and their widespread integration into the healthcare, pharma and life science sectors have resulted in the emergence of a new class of revolutionary treatment techniques that have enhanced care delivery across all facets. One such new technique or area of healthcare that has been gaining immense popularity lately due to the myriad of benefits that it offers in terms of better treatment outcomes is regenerative medicine. With rising elderly population and increasing prevalence of chronic & lifestyle diseases and genetic diseases worldwide, there has been a heightened demand for regenerative medicine such as stem cell therapy, cell therapy, gene therapy, platelet-rich plasma, tissue engineering and a lot more. As per Fortune Business Insights’ report, the global regenerative medicine market which is currently worth $42.18 billion in 2024 is expected to amount to $398.77 billion by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 32.4 percent during the forecast period.

In India, driven majorly by the government initiatives such as the ‘Stem Cell Research & Regenerative Medicine’ program, we are witnessing significant innovation happening in the field in recent times across both private and public sectors. Spearheading this medical revolution in the country through its futuristic approach to innovation is QR Life Sciences. Based in Bengaluru, QR Life Sciences was incepted in 2017 by Sidharth Bhandari (Founder) with a vision to revolutionize the treatment of chronic ailments through cutting-edge technology innovation. Today, with a strong presence in Maharashtra and South India, the company has earned the reputation of providing one of the most advanced and successful regenerative treatment options among the medical community and patients alike.

Revolutionary Device based on Proprietary Technology

As a nextgen healthcare technology conglomerate, QR Life Sciences has developed a patented technology named Quantum Field Bio Magnetic Resonance Stimulation that, integrated into QRST device, is enabling doctors to deliver enhanced treatment outcomes for patients with diverse musculoskeletal disorders. By precisely delivering advanced energy waves to the bones, tendons, ligaments or cartilages, the QRST device shifts the cells in those areas from degenerative cycle a regenerative cycle by stimulating the protons in hydrogen atoms of those cells. This increased cellular activity promotes healing by repairing the damaged tissues faster and more effectively. Some of the major areas/conditions that are being treated using QRST device include bones & joints, ligaments, cartilages, tendons, muscles, spine, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, injuries, post-operative care and many others.

“As we grow old, we tend to become more prone to diseases as many of our parts start to degenerate. Through our groundbreaking technology, we are now able to reverse this process among patients and help them lead better, happier lives. We started this research around 5-7 years ago working with a team of around 50 doctors from across India and have finally come-up with a product after all the necessary clearance and approvals. Through the QRST device, doctors are now able to deliver personalized care to each patient depending on their condition and achieve enhanced treatment outcomes”, says Yash Bhandari, COO, QR Life Sciences.

Patient-centricity at the Core

Developed keeping mind the overall patient experience, the QRST device offer a host of benefits. With each session of the treatment lasting for an hour, the entire process is completely painless and non-invasive, helping patients receive best possible outcome for their treatment without the need of any medication or surgery. Additionally, compared to the traditional treatment methods, this revolutionary treatment facilitates speedy recovery with the patients only needing very little physiotherapy post treatment. Further, since the device is fully indigenous, the treatment is also highly cost-efficient affordable as compared to traditional treatments. Most importantly, the patients get to choose from three treatment options available – 5-day, 7-day and 9-day treatment plan – depending on the severity of their problem, with the treatment cost ranging between Rs. 20- 60K.

“At QR Life Sciences, we prioritize clear, consistent communication with our customers, wherein our dedicated support team is available to provide detailed, accurate information about our therapies and technology. What sets us apart is our unique combination of cutting-edge technology, non-invasive therapies, and personalized care. The therapy is customized to the individual needs of the patient, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to provide optimal results. We not only focus on holistic healing that addresses the root cause of disorders, rather than just managing symptoms, but also offer personalized consultations to assess individual conditions and recommend appropriate treatment options. Additionally, we follow-up with patients regularly to ensure they are satisfied with the progress as well”, Yash further explains.

Future Prospects

Currently having eight machines operational in Bangalore, QR Life Sciences is now in the process of setting-up 15 more machines across various healthcare caters in the city. In terms of geographical expansion, while the blueprint is ready to gradually enter the North Indian regions of Nashik, Jaipur, Delhi, Patna and Jaisalmer, the company is also looking forward to get FDA and CEA approvals to first into international markets. Further, the team is now engaged in making the treatment process more efficient and developing a portable device that will help patients utilize the groundbreaking technology at the comfort of their homes.

“At QR Life Sciences, we believe in a future where invasive surgeries and long-term reliance on medications are no longer necessary. Our focus on cutting-edge, patient-friendly technology has not only improved outcomes, but also redefined recovery. We are committed to pushing the boundaries of medical technology and offering therapies that are as safe, effective, and accessible as possible”, concludes Yash.
