Consider MRI as an example. Long scan periods have historically caused patient discomfort and served as a hospital bottleneck.
AI-powered acceleration technologies have the potential to significantly lower scan durations and increase image quality, and the industry has made great progress in this area. Vaishnav told Pharmabiz via email that our SmartSpeed AI technology is an example of how MRI systems may provide up to three times quicker imaging and up to 65% higher resolution, depending on system design and clinical application, without requiring additional hardware investment.
