In order to transform healthcare concepts into significant, market-ready solutions, the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) has introduced the Innovation Passport (i-Passport), a unique single-access gateway.
According to a statement released here on Monday, September 15, 2025, the Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) has launched its Innovation Passport (i-Passport), a unique single-access gateway with a technological advancements , to transform healthcare ideas into significant, market-ready solutions in the presence of Professor Ajay Kumar Sood, the center's principal scientific advisor, who recently visited the zone.

According to the statement, the AMTZ now links more than 1,000 start-ups nationwide through 75 incubators, and it now hopes to reach more than 200 incubators. According to Jitendra Sharma, MD and founder CEO of AMTZ, "the i-Passport is not only about offering access to Pharmaceutical infrastructure , it's about creating an end-to-end support system that lowers time to market, cuts costs, and helps Indian start-ups compete globally."
AMTZ is making sure that innovators in the fields of medicine, health, artificial intelligence, diagnostics, and related fields have access to a full ecosystem in order to commercialize their ideas. By removing the typical obstacles that impede innovation, the i-Passport provides start-ups and individual innovators with easy access to healthcare manufacturing and research and development facilities.
