Gujarat will soon be able to share its strong pharmaceutical and healthcare ecosystem with the world through an international delegation from 41 countries on June 18, 2025.

The visit is part of the 2nd Policymakers' Forum scheduled from June 16 to 19 in New Delhi, which is supported by the Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) along with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and Gujarat FDCA. The forum will focus on regulatory harmonization, public health policy, and pharma innovation.

Delegates coming to Ahmedabad will visit two advanced R&D centers and will be able to see firsthand the state's leadership in pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, and regulatory framework. Dr. H G Koshia, Commissioner of Gujarat FDCA said the visits clearly show the state's scientific excellence and ability to export.

A networking session at UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre will further strengthen bilateralties and collaborate on global regulatory matters. The first session of the forum in Delhi will host some prominent policy makers and regulators including Dr. Rajeev Singh Raghuvanshi, DCGI and Anupriya Patel, Minister of State for Health. The IPC will also release its 15-Year Journey Book celebrating India’s pharmacopoeial milestones.
