MicroPort Orthopedics Launches Medial-Pivot Orthopedic Implants in India

MicroPort Orthopedics, a global medical device company located in the United States, has introduced in India the Evolution Medial-Pivot Knee, its second-generation knee replacement product.

This latest knee replacement solution mimics the natural knee stability and motion, improving flexion stability, allowing anatomical movement, and reducing wear. Patient outcomes and satisfaction after total knee replacement are improved.

The knee is internationally acclaimed for its clinical performance and has a survivorship of 98.8% at 17 years and 95% patient satisfaction. Being over 25 years in use, the Medial-Pivot line is also part of more than 1 million procedures carried out in over 70 countries.

To support the launch in India, MicroPort's international experts have conducted specialized training sessions for the surgeons across various Indian cities, along with on-site surgical support.
