The "Pharmacists winning Team", a panel running for the state pharmacy council election with the support of the chemists and druggists association (TN CDA).They have promised and registered pharmacists that they will provide enough job opportunities for both Pharm D graduates and degree holders. " The Knowledge and skill of the Pharm D personnel are not properly used by the healthcare sector because of lack of opportunities. if our panel comes to power, we will definitely create opportunities for the doctoral pharmacy graduates", said S Balaji, panel converter and executive committee member of the AIOCD and TN CDA.
Balaji, who is the candidate in the election, have Five-point promises for the working and unemployed pharmacists and it was stated that a welfare scheme like insurance coverage for the registered pharmacists and their families is wanted by the panel. The panel is composed of academic experts, regulatory officers, and pharmaceutical traders. The benefit of the scheme is available to all pharmacists, whether they are employed or not.
The premium for the insurance of the pharmacists will be paid by the pharmacy council. Monthly upskilling workshops will be held to enhance Quality of healthcare the pharmacists professional abilities and provide them with updated information and standards related to the healthcare system. This Programme will be conducted from Taluk level to State level.
