VLCC has taken a major step by introducing Global Laser Certification access in India through a new partnership with the National Council on Laser Certification (NCLC), USA.
With this move, VLCC becomes the exclusive proctor for NCLC exams in the country, allowing professionals to earn globally recognized credentials without leaving India.
With this development, VLCC is now the sole institution in the country authorised to administer in-person NCLC certification examinations as part of VLCC’s training courses, enabling candidates from across India to participate regardless of their training background or institute of origin.
The partnership marks a significant step in aligning India’s beauty and wellness education ecosystem with global standards. By creating a single, credible access point for internationally benchmarked certification, VLCC is strengthening the pathway for Indian professionals to gain globally relevant credentials and expand their career opportunities beyond domestic markets.
The NCLC certification is widely recognised for enhancing professional credibility in the field of laser-based aesthetic treatments. Its availability in India through an exclusive testing partner is expected to address the growing demand for internationally certified practitioners, while supporting professionals seeking overseas employment opportunities, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.

As part of this affiliation, VLCC has onboarded a select group of trainers who are now NCLC-approved proctors, authorised to conduct certification examinations through a structured online process. This ensures standardised evaluation aligned with global protocols, while improving accessibility for candidates across geographies.
“Global recognition is increasingly becoming a defining factor in career progression within the beauty and wellness industry,”said Vikas Gupta, MD & CEO, VLCC Group. “This partnership enables us to offer a structured and credible pathway for professionals in India to access internationally recognised certification and align their expertise with global standards.”
“India represents one of the fastest-growing markets for advanced aesthetic laser treatments, and it was critical for us to partner with an institution that brings both scale and credibility,” said Gregory Absten, Chairman of the National Council on Laser Certification (NCLC), USA. “VLCC’s extensive training network, deep-rooted industry expertise, and long-standing commitment to safety and education made them the ideal partner to serve as our exclusive affiliate in India. Through this collaboration, we aim to ensure that professionals across the country have access to globally benchmarked certification standards in laser aesthetics.”
