Invictus Biocare aims to create evidence-based formulations that are affordable and accessible, while maintaining high standards of quality

The nutraceutical industry is steadily moving beyond conventional supplements to become an increasingly important part of the broader wellness and preventive-healthcare conversation. Today, the focus is no longer limited to vitamins and minerals; it increasingly includes formulation science, ingredient quality, bioavailability, and scientific validation.
As consumers become more informed and healthcare practitioners consider nutritional supplementation alongside conventional care, formulation companies have an important role in translating scientific research into products designed to complement the diet and support wellness and recovery.
Founded by Dr. Kruthi Nanduri, the company leverages clinical insight to develop nutraceutical solutions rooted in scientific research rather than market trends. As a women-led enterprise with products manufactured in India, Invictus Biocare reflects the growing contribution of Indian entrepreneurship and domestic capabilities to healthcare innovation, with a focus on evidence-based, patient-centric products that are high in quality yet accessible at competitive prices.
From Clinical Practice to Nutraceutical Innovation
Invictus Biocare's journey is anchored in the clinical expertise of its Founder & Managing Director, Dr. Kruthi Nanduri. An Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon by training, she holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), a Master's in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery from Poole Hospital NHS, England.
Her professional experience has spanned corporate hospitals, government healthcare institutions, and humanitarian initiatives, including reconstructive surgeries for underprivileged children with cleft lip and palate.
While treating patients recovering from trauma, reconstructive procedures, and complex surgeries, she repeatedly encountered a challenge that extended beyond surgical intervention. Successful treatment was often followed by prolonged recovery, where nutrition and immune support played a significant role in healing outcomes. Yet, nutritional care frequently remained an under-addressed component of patient management.
That observation eventually evolved into the idea behind Invictus Biocare. The company was established to develop scientifically formulated nutraceuticals that complement conventional healthcare by supporting recovery and bridging nutritional gaps. These products are positioned as supplements to the diet. This clinical foundation continues to shape its philosophy, where formulations begin with patient needs rather than market trends.

Developing Formulations Backed by Research and Transparency
At a time when consumers are increasingly cautious about ingredient quality and exaggerated health claims, Invictus Biocare has adopted a formulation-first approach centered on scientific evidence and transparency. The company's unique multivitamin formulation combines essential vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and selected phytonutrients such as Brahmi, Moringa, Ginseng, Grape Seed Extract, Aloe Vera, and Blueberry Extracts known for their many benefits.
The same research-driven thinking is evident in its calcium formulation, developed with attention to absorption and gastric tolerability. Designed particularly with the nutritional needs of individuals recovering from fractures and surgeries in mind, the formulation seeks to support supplementation while encouraging patient compliance.
Another noteworthy addition is the company's plant-based protein formulation. Developed using green pea and red rice protein, it is free from added sugar, artificial sweeteners, synthetic flavours, and artificial colours. While clean-label formulations often raise concerns around taste acceptance, early consumer response demonstrated a growing preference for naturally flavoured products that prioritize ingredient integrity over artificial enhancement.
“For Invictus Biocare, product development extends beyond formulation. Every ingredient is selected after reviewing scientific literature, while label claims are supported through analytical testing. This evidence-led approach reflects the company's belief that trust is built through transparency, quality, and measurable standards rather than promotional messaging,” shares Dr. Kruthi Nanduri, Founder and Managing Director.
Strengthening Quality through Science and Collaboration
Research remains central to Invictus Biocare's long-term growth strategy. The company is working with clinicians and research institutions to strengthen the evidence base around its formulations, with an emphasis on ethically conducted evaluation and clinically relevant outcomes.
“Equally important is our manufacturing philosophy. Invictus Biocare has partnered with a manufacturing facility that operates under internationally recognised certifications, including WHO-GMP and ISO standards, helping ensure that formulations are produced in line with stringent quality and safety benchmarks,” says Dr. Kruthi Nanduri.
With its products manufactured in India through certified manufacturing partners, the company also aligns with the broader 'Make in India' vision by leveraging domestic manufacturing capabilities while maintaining internationally recognised quality benchmarks.
For Dr. Nanduri, the company's approach remains rooted in her identity as a clinician. “At my core, I am a surgeon, and my focus has always been the patient. Every decision begins with a simple question: what does this patient need, and how can I help support faster recovery and better outcomes?”
That patient-centric philosophy guides research and product development. Invictus Biocare aims to create evidence-based formulations that are affordable and accessible, while maintaining high standards of quality. Even when developing differentiated products, the company seeks to price them competitively so that patients can access them while the business competes with larger multinational companies with greater resources and reach.
Earning doctors’ trust remains one of the company’s most important responsibilities. Clinicians rightly expect strong scientific evidence before recommending new products. Invictus Biocare therefore sees transparency, consistent quality, professional engagement, and credible evidence as central to building long-term confidence among healthcare practitioners and consumers.
Expanding the Scope of Patient-Centric Healthcare
Looking ahead, Invictus Biocare aspires to build a fully integrated healthcare company by expanding into the pharmaceutical sector while remaining rooted in its core philosophy of science, safety, affordability, and patient-centric innovation. Whether the offering is a nutraceutical, a sports nutrition product, or a future pharmaceutical intervention, the company aims to develop high-quality solutions that address real patient needs and improve quality of life.
The company is also preparing to expand its product portfolio, including specialised sports nutrition formulations and magnesium-based recovery solutions for athletes and active individuals, while continuing to explore functional nutrition, plant-based bioactives, probiotics, and other areas of nutritional science.
By continuing to develop research-backed, high-quality products designed to complement diet and conventional care, while leveraging India-based manufacturing and maintaining a strong focus on affordability, Invictus Biocare aims to make evidence-based nutritional support more accessible to patients and consumers.
