Over time, Sripath intends to evolve this approach from conventional wound care towards what it describes as ‘innovative accelerated repair’, eventually encompassing internal wounds as well
S V Krisshnan Balaji, Managing Director
Women’s healthcare in India is gradually expanding beyond its traditional association with reproductive and maternal care. Greater awareness around PCOS, infertility, endometriosis, adenomyosis, menopause and metabolic health is encouraging more focused therapeutic interventions across different stages of a woman’s life.
At the same time, growing interest in preventive healthcare and targeted nutraceutical support is creating opportunities for Gynae Therapy Based Products Suppliers to develop solutions around specific clinical needs. Grand View Research estimates India’s women’s health market will grow at a CAGR of 6.2 percent between 2026 and 2033, reflecting the expanding attention being given to specialised women’s healthcare.
Operating within this evolving landscape, Nishe Therapeutics has positioned itself as a specialised women’s healthcare company that looks beyond conventional product replication. Its approach begins with identifying what it describes as a ‘therapy gap’ - an aspect of an existing treatment pathway that may benefit from additional supportive intervention - and developing differentiated nutraceutical adjuvants around it.
Rather than seeking to replace established therapies, Nishe Therapeutics focuses on complementing existing treatment protocols across areas such as PCOS, fertility, endometriosis, adenomyosis and broader reproductive and metabolic health.

At the helm is S V Krisshnan Balaji, Managing Director, a pharmaceutical professional with more than three decades of industry experience. Beginning his career in the early 1990s, his exposure to pharmaceutical sales, doctor engagement and market development eventually led him towards entrepreneurship in 2003.
Alongside him, the promoter team brings complementary strengths through Meenaakshie Krisshnan, Founder and Director, who has two decades of experience in sales and is an internationally certified leadership coach, and P S Sathish Kumar, Marketing Director, who brings 20 years of rich marketing experience. Together, the three bring pharmaceutical market understanding, people leadership and brand-building expertise to Nishe Therapeutics.
Finding the Gap within Established Therapies
Nishe Therapeutics’ product-development philosophy starts with a straightforward question: what remains insufficiently addressed within an existing therapy? This thinking is visible across its portfolio. With Adipolin, for instance, Nishe Therapeutics approaches PCOS beyond the widely discussed dimension of insulin resistance, drawing attention to adipocyte dysfunction as another area requiring consideration. EndoRelief has been developed around a non-hormonal nutraceutical adjuvant approach for conditions such as endometriosis and adenomyosis, complementing established treatment strategies.

Similarly, EmThik emerged from the company’s assessment of vasodilation and its relevance to implantation, combining this understanding with supportive ingredients. Another concept in its portfolio reframes conventional vitamin supplementation around night-time recovery, inflammation and preparation for the following day.
Behind the conceptualization and positioning of these brands is P S Sathish Kumar, who serves as the marketing brain behind Nishe Therapeutics’ portfolio. Drawing on two decades of marketing experience, he has successfully launched several unique and innovative brands addressing PCOS and infertility. His understanding of therapeutic requirements, brand positioning and market needs plays an important role in translating the company’s therapy-gap philosophy into differentiated offerings for gynaecologists.
Building Scientific Engagement through People
For a company introducing differentiated concepts, product development represents only one side of the equation. The other is ensuring that field teams can communicate the science credibly and consistently. Nishe Therapeutics consequently places continuous training and people development at the centre of its operating model. The leadership describes doctors as its external customers and employees as its internal customers - an outlook that shapes how it approaches engagement, retention and capability building.

Meenaakshie Krisshnan plays a significant role in this people-development philosophy. With two decades of experience in sales and credentials as an internationally certified leadership coach, she brings together an understanding of pharmaceutical selling with structured leadership development. Working closely with S V Krisshnan Balaji and P S Sathish Kumar, she helps ensure that employees understand not merely what they are selling, but the therapeutic reasoning and purpose behind each offering.
This approach has also contributed to relatively low employee attrition within its approximately 30–35-member organization More importantly, Krisshnan sees leadership development as a long-term responsibility. He believes sustainable organisations are built by creating people capable of assuming larger responsibilities.
Moving from Attention to Clinical Adoption
Scientific differentiation, however, also brings a distinct market-development challenge. A doctor finding a new therapeutic concept interesting does not automatically translate into adoption. Nishe Therapeutics currently engages with approximately 3,200 doctors, and its leadership recognises that moving healthcare professionals from awareness and interest towards actual product usage requires sustained scientific communication.
“Our response has been to strengthen field execution, continually educate our teams and introduce concepts capable of opening newer conversations with gynaecologists. This becomes particularly relevant as women’s healthcare itself diversifies into areas such as functional gynaecology, urogynaecology and greater attention to menopause and post-menopausal wellbeing,” shares S V Krisshnan Balaji, Managing Director.
Taking Women’s Healthcare into the Next Phase
Nishe Therapeutics now intends to deepen its presence by continuing to identify less-addressed therapeutic windows. Among the concepts under development is a metabolic probiotic approach for PCOS, through which the company plans to explore metabolic and gut-health dimensions alongside established approaches to the condition.
“Our larger ambition is to emerge as a significant women’s healthcare player in India, supported by three essentials - superior products, strong processes and capable people. We plan to progressively expand our portfolio, deepen scientific engagement with healthcare professionals and continue developing our internal leadership pipeline,” shares S V Krisshnan Balaji.
Over the longer term, Nishe Therapeutics also carries an ambitious vision of creating employment opportunities for as many as 10,000 people as it scales. Backed by Krisshnan’s three decades of pharmaceutical experience, Meenaakshie’s expertise in sales and leadership development, and Sathish Kumar’s two decades of marketing and brand-building experience, the company is building its next phase around a promoter team with distinctly complementary capabilities.
For Nishe Therapeutics, however, growth remains anchored to the principle with which it began: rather than adding another product to an already crowded category, identify what the existing therapy leaves unanswered - and build meaningfully around that gap.
