Amid the renewed surge in Covid-19 cases across the country, Andhra Pradesh Information and Public Relations Minister K Parthasarathi on Sunday called on citizens to stay alert and follow precautionary guidelines.
Emphasizing the need for collective responsibility, he urged the public to avoid large gatherings and strictly adhere to social distancing norms at crowded public spaces such as railway stations, bus stands, and airports throughout the state.

To strengthen the state's readiness, Parthasarathi directed healthcare officials to maintain an adequate stock of PPE kits, masks, and other essential medical supplies. Both urban and rural medical facilities have been asked to stay on high alert to effectively respond to any potential health emergencies.
He assured the public that the state government is fully prepared to tackle any resurgence, with special emphasis on enhancing infrastructure and services at government hospitals. Additionally, officials have been instructed to intensify awareness campaigns at the village and mandal levels. These campaigns will focus on promoting public health practices, preventive care, and the importance of following Covid-19 safety protocols to mitigate the spread of the virus.
