Aster DM has announced INR a 1,315 crore investment to strengthen Karnataka healthcare through new hospitals and expanded medical facilities.
The move will add more than 1,300 beds across Bengaluru and support medical education, research, and healthcare push.

The announcement came after a meeting between Aster DM Quality Care Executive Chairman Dr. Azad Moopen and Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar. The company shared its roadmap to expand healthcare services, medical education, research, and healthcare technology in the state.
The investment will focus on three major healthcare projects in Bengaluru. These projects are expected to meet the city's rising demand for advanced medical services.
The company will build a 550-bed hospital in Yeshwantpur. Another 460-bed hospital will come up in Sarjapur. Aster DM will also expand Aster CMI Hospital by adding 350 beds.
Together, these projects will create more than 1,300 additional hospital beds. The expansion will strengthen healthcare infrastructure across Bengaluru. It will also improve access to specialized treatment for patients.
The company said the projects will support the growing healthcare needs of Karnataka's population. The new facilities are also expected to reduce pressure on existing hospitals.

Apart from hospital expansion, Aster DM plans to strengthen medical education and research. The company also wants to invest in healthcare technology. The initiative will help improve healthcare delivery through modern infrastructure and innovation. Better technology can also improve patient care and hospital efficiency.
The company believes these investments will create long-term value for Karnataka's healthcare sector. It also expects the projects to generate employment during construction and hospital operations.
