Lubrizol will showcase its medical device manufacturing innovations at World Health Expo (WHX) Dubai from February 9–12, 2026, highlighting its commitment to advancing healthcare solutions through global manufacturing.
The company is expanding its presence in India with new contract manufacturing capacity with a state-of-the-art medical manufacturing plant at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, which will be operational during mid-2026.
The facility will specialise in the manufacture of highly accurate medical tubing to neurovascular and cardiovascular uses such as balloon catheters and parts used in minimally invasive surgery.

The Chennai plant will take advantage of the experience of the Lubrizol company in the area of medical-grade thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and other biocompatible engineered polymers. Its services will involve single and multi-lumen, high-precision, extrusion of TPU, Nylon, Pebax 2, and other thermoplastics, as well as tri-layered and balloon tubing and complicated braiding. The applications associated with these solutions are diverse and are used in electro stimulation, cardiovascular, and neurovascular therapies.
