MAHE to Highlight Compliance at 3rd National cGMP Day

The first ‘Manipal cGMP Forum: National Conference on cGMP & Compliance’, will be a day dealing with the theme “cGMP for Sustainable Quality”, will take place on October 10, 2025 at the Dr TMA Pai Auditorium, MAHE, Manipal. As it were, the conference will coincides with the 3rd National cGMP Day. The Centre for cGMP at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS), Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is the organizer of this event.

Since 2023, National cGMP Day is being celebrated every year as per the concept of Dr Girish Pai K, coordinator, Centre for cGMP, with IDMA and other related industry bodies being the partners. The conference will walk the gap between academic and pharma industry in the execution of the revised Schedule M guidelines, which is to be the main topic of discussion throughout the conference.

Dr Girish Pai K, Coordinator, Centre for cGMP, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal, along with Bharath N. Shah, national president, IDMA, will be the ones to officially open the conference. Dr. Aditi Kare Panandikar, Honorary General Secretary of IDMA, & MD, Indoco Remedies, will be making the keynote address. The Other eminent personalities include Harish Jain (FOPE), Namit Joshi (Pharmexcil), and Amit Raj Sinha (Sigachi Industries).

There are going to be plenary sessions, poster presentations, open house discussions among the faculty and experts, such as Dinesh Kashikar (Zenshin Pharmatek LLP) and Allen Dass (Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals), apart from the usual round table discussions. The National cGMP Day Award 2025 will be awarded to Ananthakrishna Padiyar, Chief of Quality, Cipla with this felicitation ceremony coinciding with the event.
