Morgan Stanley PE-backed Omega Hospitals, based in Hyderabad, has successfully acquired Cytecare Hospitals, a prominent cancer care facility located in Bengaluru. This strategic acquisition signifies Omega's entry into a rapidly expanding micro-market in North Bengaluru. Spark Capital IB provided exclusive advisory services to Cytecare for this transaction.

Established in 2016, Cytecare has earned a solid reputation for its clinical excellence, patient-focused care, and research initiatives. The hospital features 150 beds and is accredited by NABH, strategically positioned along the international airport road in Bengaluru's burgeoning Northern corridor.

Omega Hospitals, based in Hyderabad, has emerged as one of India’s leading providers of specialized cancer care. Established in 2010 by surgical oncologist Dr. Mohana Vamsy, the hospital is widely recognized for its comprehensive oncology services and patient-focused approach.

Since its inception, Omega Hospitals has experienced substantial growth, now operating over nine facilities nationwide and expanding further through key acquisitions, such as Cytecare Hospitals in Bengaluru. With a focus on advanced cancer treatments, the hospital combines state-of-the-art medical technology with compassionate, high-quality care. Although it began in Hyderabad, Omega Hospitals has extended its services to multiple locations, including Gachibowli, Banjara Hills, and other major cities across India.
