Tenet Diagnostics has received a major USD 30 million investment from Tata Capital Healthcare Fund III and Swiss impact investor Blue Earth Capital AG.
The deal marks a fresh push into India’s growing diagnostics market. The investment will help Tenet Diagnostics expand its presence and strengthen its laboratory network.
The investment was made in Tenet Medcorp, the company operating under the Tenet Diagnostics brand. The transaction involves an undisclosed equity stake. It is also among the first investments by Tata Capital Healthcare Fund III after its first close earlier this year.
The Tata Capital Healthcare Fund III and Blue Earth Capital are investing about USD 30 million in Tenet Medcorp. The funding will support the company’s expansion plans across India. Tenet plans to strengthen its operations in existing markets. It also aims to expand its B2B laboratory network through the new capital. The company could also use part of the funds for strategic acquisitions. This will allow Tenet to grow through both organic and inorganic expansion.

Founded in 2018 by Sricharan Devineni, Tenet has built a growing diagnostic network in India. The company now operates more than 35 diagnostic centers across 14 states. Its services cover several major areas of medical diagnostics. These include radiology, pathology and nuclear medicine.
Tenet also runs a pan-India B2B laboratory network. The network offers more than 3,000 super-specialty tests. The company’s B2B focus gives it access to hospitals, healthcare providers and other medical facilities. Its expansion strategy is aimed at increasing this reach.
The investment comes as India’s diagnostics sector attracts more private capital. Diagnostic companies are expanding their networks and entering smaller cities. Growing healthcare demand is also creating opportunities for organized diagnostic providers. Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities remain important markets for future expansion.
For Tenet, the latest funding provides capital for its next phase of growth. The company can use the investment to enter new markets and strengthen its existing operations. Strategic acquisitions could also help Tenet add new capabilities and increase its geographic reach.
Veda Corporate Advisors acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Tenet Diagnostics and its shareholders for the transaction. The latest deal shows the growing interest of institutional investors in India’s healthcare and diagnostics space. It also gives Tenet additional financial backing as it looks to build a larger nationwide network.
