USV Launches 'United for BP ControL' to Fight Hypertension

• 25,000+ BP and ECG camps to screen 2.5 lakh+ patients

With over 315 million Indians affected by hypertension, the condition has emerged as a major public health challenge, worsened by low awareness, limited education, and poor treatment adherence. In response, USV, an Indian multinational healthcare company, has launched the ‘United for BP Control’ initiative in collaboration with the World Hypertension League (WHL) and the Indian Society of Hypertension.

Talking about the launch, Dr. S N Narasingan, Past President,WHL & a leading hypertension expert from Chennai, said, “This is a thoughtful initiative by USV. The unique strip they conceptualised and designed, offers hypertension patients a reminder to stay on track with their medication, embrace healthier habits, and can make a difference in managing blood pressure.”
