Apollo Cancer Centres (ACCs) announced the creation of "CanWin," a cancer support network that unites everyone in their cancer journey, as a major step towards commemorating National Cancer Survivors Month.
Oncologists, psycho-oncologists, patients, survivors, caregivers, and volunteers come together on the agnostic platform CanWin to develop a cancer care community based on understanding, empathy, support, improving patient outcomes. It's a safe place to communicate, listen, learn, and heal, it's more than just a group. You are not alone if you have just received a diagnosis, are receiving cancer treatment or Personalized treatments, or are living past it. Two potent concepts are embodied by CanWin: the CAN in cancer serves as a silent reminder of potential and strength. Additionally, there is WIN, which is a mindset as well as a destination. A choice to rise with grace, tenacity, and resolve.

Speaking at the event, cancer winners from Bengaluru opined, "Winning cancer isn’t just about beating the disease, it’s about finding strength you never knew you had. The journey tested every part of us- physically, emotionally, and mentally. But, it also revealed the power of hope, the comfort of community, and the courage that comes from within. We’ve learned to embrace life with more gratitude, to value the people who stood by us, and to speak up for others still fighting. Today, we stand not just as cancer winners, but as people who have discovered a deeper meaning in every moment"
