Eli Lilly and Company (India) has declared the official launching of its new technology and innovation location in Hyderabad; a new strategic centre for enhanced digital and technology capabilities that will drive efficiencies through Lilly’s global operations.
The Hyderabad site will focus on improving efficiencies in the based on artificial intelligence (AI), automation, cloud computing, and software product engineering, while also helping our local talented people in overcoming some of the world's most challenging health problems and creating new growth opportunities.
The Lilly India site in Hyderabad is comprised of approximately 220,000 sq. ft. of space on four floors in the Phoenix Equinox building in Gachibowli. Lilly has already brought in 100 professionals to work at the Hyderabad facility and plans to increase the total number of employees to 1,500 over the next few years. The Hyderabad facility was officially opened by Diogo Rau, executive vice president and chief information and digital officer of Eli Lilly and Company, and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, as well as D. Sridhar Babu, Hon’ble Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, Legislative Affairs, and Government of Telangana. Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce Department were also in attendance.
