Alembic Pharma started FY27 with a strong first quarter. The company reported healthy growth in profit and revenue.

The pharmaceutical company reported a consolidated net profit of INR 173.07 crore for the quarter ended June 2026. This marked a 12.1% increase from INR 154.38 crore reported in the same quarter last year.
Its consolidated revenue from operations reached INR 2,149.77 crore. The company had reported revenue of INR 1,710.72 crore during the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Alembic Pharma also reported higher operating expenses during the quarter. Total expenses increased to INR 1,943.23 crore. In the same period last year, expenses stood at INR 1,526.67 crore.
Despite the increase in costs, the company maintained healthy earnings growth. Higher sales and improved business performance helped offset the rise in expenses. The latest quarterly numbers indicate that demand remained steady across multiple business segments.

Commenting on the quarterly performance, Pranav Amin, Managing Director of Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd, said the company has started FY27 on a strong note. He said growth was seen across all major businesses during the quarter.
According to him, healthy volume growth, successful product launches, and consistent execution across important markets supported the company's overall performance. The management believes these factors helped deliver balanced growth during the first quarter.
