Pharma & Labtech Expo 2025 Begins in Gandhinagar, Gujarat

Gujarat Chief Minister, Bhupendra Patel, opened the 20th edition of Pharma & Labtech Expo 2025 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar with State Health Minister Rishikesh Patel.

The three-day mega event was attended by all key stakeholders in India's booming pharmaceutical and laboratory technology sectors, hence, creating a platform for the sectors' stakeholders to showcase their innovations, network and share knowledge and experiences within the value chain.

The expo covers 25,000 square metres and features over 400 exhibitors with a huge range of products, from pharma formulations to manufacturing machines, lab equipment, packaging technologies and analytical instruments.

A new feature of the expo this year is a series of concurrent expos on contract manufacturing and raw and packaging materials, which gives a complete view of the pharma ecosystem. The expo includes a branded pavilion for those industrial buyers and engineering professionals interested in pumps, valves, pipes and fittings.

While visiting, Chief Minister Patel visited several exhibition kiosks, speaking with many industry representatives. He applauded the expo for acting as a tie between research, manufacturing, and commercialisation, and reiterated Gujarat's sustained commitment to healthcare innovation and pharmaceutical manufacturing excellence.

Others in attendance included Gandhinagar Mayor Meera Patel, Dr. H.G. Koshia, Dr. Ravikant Sharma and Dr. Viranchi Shah, along with several other leaders from industry and government. 

Ahmedabad, often called the Pharma Capital of India, remains a focal point for pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, and development, and exports, strengthening Gujarat’s leading position.
