India’s diagnostic network is expanding as healthcare companies add advanced imaging and pathology services.
Redcliffe Labs has strengthened this growth with its acquisition of Pune-based Megavision Diagnostics Center.
The deal adds two MRI centres in Pimpri-Chinchwad to Redcliffe Labs’ pathology network. It also brings imaging and pathology services under one diagnostic ecosystem.
Megavision has served patients and clinicians in the region for more than two decades. Its established presence gives Redcliffe access to experienced radiology teams and advanced imaging technology.
The move comes as diagnostic providers across India expand beyond standalone testing. Companies are increasingly building networks that combine pathology, radiology, and other diagnostic services.
The acquisition strengthens Redcliffe Labs’ presence in Western India. It also supports its plan to build an integrated diagnostics platform across key markets.
The two centers provide access to advanced imaging services alongside Redcliffe’s existing pathology network. Megavision’s facilities include MRI and other diagnostic imaging capabilities.
The combined network can offer patients a wider range of services through a single provider. It also allows Redcliffe to expand its radiology capabilities without building new facilities from scratch.
Redcliffe Labs said the acquisition will support a more connected approach to diagnostics. Pathology and radiology can work together to support earlier detection and clinical decision-making.

The Pune acquisition also reflects a wider shift in India’s medical infrastructure. Diagnostic companies are expanding their reach through acquisitions and partnerships with established regional providers. Megavision was established under the leadership of Dr. Kedar Prabhakar Bhate. He will continue to lead Megavision Redcliffe Labs following the acquisition.
Dr. Bhate will also work with the Redcliffe Clinical Board. His focus will include strengthening radiology services across Pune and nearby regions. Redcliffe has followed a similar expansion strategy in other markets. Over the past year, it acquired Prime Sonography & Diagnostic Center in Kota. It also acquired Sarvodaya Diagnostics in Ajmer.
Both additions now operate under Redcliffe Medicentre Imaging & Labs. These acquisitions have helped the company expand its regional diagnostics network.
Dheeraj Jain, Chairman and Founder of Redcliffe Labs, said regional expertise remains central to its expansion strategy. He highlighted the company’s focus on clinical quality, technology, and wider access to diagnostics.
Aditya Kandoi, Founder and CEO of Redcliffe Labs, said the acquisition strengthens the company’s presence in Pune. He also said combining radiology and pathology can create a smoother diagnostic experience.
Dr. Kedar Prabhakar Bhate said the integration will help preserve Megavision’s legacy. He added that patient-focused care and diagnostic quality will remain priorities.
For Redcliffe, the acquisition is another step toward building a connected diagnostics ecosystem. For patients, it could mean access to more diagnostic services through a wider regional network.
The deal also highlights how established diagnostic centers can support the expansion of India’s healthcare infrastructure.
