Fujifilm India, the leading global provider of healthcare technology, has launched a digital radiology X-ray centre in the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Dholera, Gujarat. The proposed CSR project will provide affordable medical services and modern diagnostic care to the growing industrial population and the population of 33 adjacent villages. The facility is set to become the first central DR X-ray hub in the region, addressing urgent healthcare gaps amid rapid industrialization.
Dholera is evolving into a smart industrial hub with projects like a mega solar park, expressway, freight rail, and proposed semiconductor plants, but public medical facilities have not grown at the same pace. To bridge this gap, Fujifilm India, under its CSR mandate, has established the facility to provide reliable digital radiology support, ensuring timely diagnosis and care for workers, engineers, and local communities.
The CHC-hosted Fujifilm Medical Centre will offer DR X-ray services, early tuberculosis screening with sputum collection, and regular health camps to bring preventive care closer to the community. With the combination of the latest diagnostic services and the development of Dholera, Fujifilm India is assisting in making sure that healthcare infrastructure is in step with the rapid development in the region.

Koji Wada, Managing Director, Fujifilm India, said, “Dholera represents the future of India’s industrial growth, and we are proud to contribute by supporting the enhancement of basic public healthcare infrastructure. With this facility, we are making advanced diagnostics accessible where they are needed most, ensuring that workers, residents, and families have reliable support as the city grows into a global manufacturing hub.”
Abhi Shekhar Singh, Vertical Head, Corporate Communications & CSR, Fujifilm India, added, “Taking a cure from our winning DR Technology, the idea to create ‘Fujifilm Medical Centre’ in Dholera was more long-term where our mission was to strengthen the CHC with a state-of-the-art DR System which becomes a blessing for people in the radius of 50 kilometers who otherwise would have to travel far to get X-ray done.”
