The conference will feature speakers from leading pharmaceutical companies, regulatory agencies, healthcare institutions and technology providers, including Dr. Maria Koufali of National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), Jimmy Toulas of Pfizer, Rob Harkness of GSK, Rajaram Ramanathan of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Leandro Lo Cascio of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), and Dr Arrash Yassaee of NHS England.
The confirmed line-up also includes Dr Amit Aggarwal of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI), Dr James Duboff of Genomics England, Dr Lennard Lee of the University of Oxford and EIT Oxford, and experts from Frost & Sullivan, Cognizant, Capgemini, IQVIA Biotech, Yuri Gravity, Astraeus Space Programme, Mass Balance and the University of Michigan.
Their expertise spans genomics, regulatory science, clinical development, real-world data, digital automation, artificial intelligence and lower orbital research, reflecting the growing convergence of scientific research, healthcare delivery, advanced technology.
Key areas shaping the life-sciences agenda
The conference will examine developments across the biotechnology value chain, with some broad areas of focus:
These themes address a central challenge for the sector: translating scientific discoveries into safe, effective and commercially viable treatments and technologies.
Merck, Thermo Fisher Scientific and specialist innovators among participating companies
The exhibition will feature global life-sciences names alongside specialist suppliers, research organisations and emerging technology companies.
Featured sponsors include Merck and Thermo Fisher Scientific, joined by Foxx Life Sciences, Astoriom, UPG International LLC, ActivInsights, MyData-TRUST and Network Scientific. Their capabilities span scientific research tools, single-use bioprocess systems, stability storage, medical-device manufacturing, wearable technologies, clinical-data privacy and specialist science-sector recruitment.
The wider exhibitor line-up includes FUJIFILM Biosciences, Abcam, Novogene, Gerresheimer, Vazyme Biotech, Vector Laboratories, Automata, NIHR BioResource, ProteoGenix and Nawah Scientific.
The show will also feature emerging innovators working on specialised technologies, including Nuclide Therapeutics in radiotheranostics, ImmunoKey in cell therapy, 3D Bio-Tissues in tissue engineering, HotHouse Therapeutics in AI-enabled plant synthetic biology and Vidiia in AI-enabled diagnostics.
Together, the participating organisations illustrate the breadth of expertise required to move biotechnology forward - from early-stage research and laboratory infrastructure to diagnostics, advanced therapies and manufacturing.
International partners strengthen industry connections
The supporting-partner network includes UK organisations such as BioIndustry Association (BIA), Bionow, BioPartner UK, Health Tech Alliance and One HealthTech, alongside international life-sciences networks including Medicon Valley Alliance, Biocat, AseBio, Hollandbio and P-BIO.
The network connects industry associations, regional innovation clusters and professional communities, highlighting the importance of collaboration across research, business development and international markets.
Buyer Programme and Startup Showcase offer opportunities to connect
Beyond the conference and exhibition, the show will feature networking opportunities, a Buyer Programme and a Startup Showcase.
The Buyer Programme is designed to arrange one-to-one meetings between participating exhibitors and eligible buyers based on business requirements. Its intended audience includes decision-makers from pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, healthcare providers, research institutions, investment firms and clinical research organisations.
The Startup Showcase will provide a platform for emerging businesses to present their technologies and engage with potential partners and investors.
For visitors, the event offers opportunities to discover technologies, meet suppliers, explore emerging companies and build relationships across the biotechnology ecosystem. For exhibitors and startups, it provides a setting to engage with potential customers, collaborators and commercial partners.
As advances in AI, precision medicine, advanced therapies and biomanufacturing continue to reshape healthcare, London Biotechnology Show 2026 will bring together the people, technologies and industry networks working to turn scientific progress into practical and commercial outcomes.
